Lady Luck

10th July 2026 marked the release of Lady Luck, the latest EP from Olympia Vitalis, and I couldn’t be more proud to see it out in the world.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Olympia on numerous occasions, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to call her one of my singers.

I first met Olympia when I was working from a small studio underneath the bridge that traverses the Thames in Putney. A representative from her label, Platoon, introduced us, and from that very first meeting, I knew there was something incredibly special about her.

Her voice is one of the most remarkable instruments I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Unique, authentic and powerful, there’s something about Olympia’s voice that immediately makes you stop and listen.

But it isn’t just her voice.

Olympia herself is a wonderful soul, bursting with talent and creativity. You can feel it in everything she does. There’s an honesty and individuality to her artistry, and it was clear to me from the beginning that she had something to say and a message she wanted to put out into the world.

I was later incredibly fortunate to be asked to be the vocal coach for Olympia’s live performance shoot of Angel’s Patience. Standing there and watching her perform, there was no doubt in my mind that greatness was just around the corner.

And now, seeing the fruits of all that hard work is pretty special.

A week ago, something arrived through the post that genuinely made my day.

Olympia’s very first vinyl.

Her Lady Luck EP, sitting there in my hands, featuring the track Don’t Cry with none other than BRIT and MOBO Award nominee Maverick Sabre. And honestly, what a tune. An absolute banger.

The vinyl itself is beautiful. The artwork, the imagery on the front and back, and Olympia looking as fantastic as ever. It’s one of those moments where you look at something and think, wow, this is real.

It now has a very proud place on the wall of the much-improved BVC Studios in Wimbledon.

And I couldn’t be prouder.

Watching an artist you’ve worked with grow, develop, find their voice and begin to share their music with the world is one of the most rewarding parts of being a vocal coach.

Olympia has worked incredibly hard for this moment, and Lady Luck feels like just another step in what I genuinely believe will be a very exciting journey.

So, Olympia, congratulations.

Here’s to Lady Luck, to everything you’ve achieved so far, and to everything that’s still to come.
